The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Masyw tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Staam swinging wildly here.
Staam shoots for a double leg takedown but Masyw sprawls well. He's pushed Staam's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

It looks like Wojtek Masyw has been cut.
Staam throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Masyw blocks it with crossed arms.

Masyw wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Staam has him pressed against the cage.

Masyw breaks the clinch.
Masyw fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

Staam is struggling to control the position.
Masyw tries to land a knee to the head but misses.

Staam escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Masyw stands up out of the half guard.
Masyw and Staam are patiently standing in front of each other looking for an opening. Masyw throws a head kick. It's landed, knocking Staam into next week! Ooooh that was huge! Masyw knows it - he's on the cage flexing is biceps. That's a bit weird considering he won by kick but whatever.
