Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mateus Daumas (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adrian Diaconu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Aken, Nard Betker and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Diaconu shoots in but Daumas avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Daumas swats away the attempt to clinch by Diaconu.
Daumas tries to score a power double leg takedown but Diaconu sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Daumas somewhat.
Diaconu has Daumas up against the cage in a clinch.
Daumas doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Daumas gets underhooks to prevent Diaconu's takedown attempt.
Diaconu drags the fight down to the ground.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Diaconu had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Daumas defends it easily.

Daumas misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Diaconu is looking to clinch but Daumas is avoiding it.
A momentary lapse in concentration from Diaconu enables Daumas to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Diaconu manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Diaconu swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Daumas throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Diaconu shoots in for a takedown but Daumas shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Sloppy strikes from Diaconu. Those never looked like landing.
Diaconu gets tackled into the cage by Daumas. Daumas maintains the clinch.

Diaconu gets control of Daumas's arms and successfully pulls guard. Diaconu will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
Daumas trying to control the position from guard on top but Diaconu is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Diaconu is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Daumas defends well.

Daumas tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Diaconu swivels and escapes.
Diaconu thows a body kick. Daumas tries to catch it but that hurt him.

Daumas tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Diaconu was well out of range. Poor timing from Daumas.

Horrible takedown attempt by Daumas or perhaps it was just good defense by Diaconu, which made it look bad.
Daumas bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Diaconu is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Daumas is one step ahead and moves to full mount!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Diaconu is breathing heavily.
Daumas pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Daumas looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.

Daumas can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Diaconu is looking to escape.
Daumas postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Diaconu looks a forlorn figure.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Daumas is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Diaconu is squirming around, avoiding Daumas's attempts to control the action.
Daumas is really struggling to control Diaconu but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Diaconu tries to lock up and control but Daumas gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Mateus Daumas overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!
Diaconu gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Daumas to score an easy takedown into full guard.

Daumas is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Daumas is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Diaconu doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Daumas.

Poor strikes thrown by Daumas there. More accuracy and less frantic strikes would help!

Daumas goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Diaconu turns into him and now he's in Daumas's guard.
Adrian Diaconu has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!

Daumas is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Mateus Daumas showed his dominance in that final round.
Well I reckon that's a shut out for Daumas, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
