The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Severence shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sendo as he jumps to the side.
Sendo darts in and clinches Severence up against the cage.
Severence wants to get back to striking at distance but Sendo won't allow it.
Severence manages to pull guard.
Sendo showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sendo scores with a decent looking elbow strike.

Sendo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Sendo must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Severence quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Sendo has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast!
