Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Monroe Bradshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Franklin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Franklin, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Franklin throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Bradshaw counters with a one-two to the body.
Franklin tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bradshaw defends well and Franklin ends up having to push Bradshaw into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

Franklin has picked Bradshaw up - he's going for a ride! Franklin dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Bradshaw is in trouble now - Franklin has advanced to mount!
Bradshaw is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Franklin is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Bradshaw has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Franklin cracks Bradshaw with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Franklin wants to control the pace but Bradshaw is squirming around nicely.
Franklin has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
BOOM! Franklin connects with a massive shot to the dome!

Franklin cracks Bradshaw with a big head shot that has him covering up instantly! He's rolled onto his side and the referee has seen enough - this one is aaaaaaaaaaall over!
