The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laven thows a body shot but no joy.
Laven misses with a two punch combination.
Laven connects with a nice looking jab.
Laven looks to land a combination. Gordon sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

It looks like Erik Gordon has been cut.
Gordon walks into a stiff left hand from Laven.
Laven scores with a nice head shot.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A big right from Gordon misses.
Gordon moves out of range as Laven throws a body kick.
Gordon looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Laven misses with a few strikes there.
The fighters circle momentarily. Laven darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Laven drops Gordon with a beautiful combination! Gordon stares up at his opponent, who ushers him back to his feet - Laven is looking for the KO!

Gordon is rocked!
Laven is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Gordon flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Gordon is out cold! Laven holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
