Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Craig Edwards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kain Rehel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Craig Edwards!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Kain Rehel!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Robert Douchet and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards wants to clinch.
Edwards fails with an attempt to clinch.
Edwards wants to clinch up but Rehel keeps it at a distance.
Rehel circles away from the clinch attempt.
Edwards throws a lazy right hand but Rehel sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Rehel closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Edwards's guard.

Edwards is scooting his butt against the cage and has managed to get back to his feet. Rehel presses him back against the cage, presumably looking to take the fight back to the mat.

Rehel turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!
Rehel is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Edwards's shoulder. That is not cool.

Rehel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Edwards keeps working.
Rehel is staying tight to Edwards's torso, preventing him from escaping.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Edwards is not content to let Rehel control the position.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kain Rehel.

Rehel shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Rehel looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Edwards with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Edwards manages to get to full guard.
Rehel not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Edwards is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

and Rehel finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body.

Rehel bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
An elbow from Rehel crashes against the mat.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Edwards is trying to improve his position.
Rehel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Edwards keeps working.

and Rehel decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Edwards's guard.

Edwards bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Rehel's guard.

Edwards gets to his feet. Rehel looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!

Rehel closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Edwards did well to prevent Rehel getting side control.

Rehel throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Edwards tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Rehel is in Edwards's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
