The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Silva doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Silva dives in and scores a takedown into Ashley's guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Ashley is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
Ashley postures up and decides to stand up, from the half guard. The ref calls for Silva to stand up.
Silva moves into range and clinches up with Ashley.

Ashley tries to score a body lock takedown but Silva shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
