PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Bone Crash (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Gotti (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of New York, Bone Crash!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, John Gotti!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gotti throws a nice looking combination but Crash bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
A looping hook to the body misses from Gotti. Crash does a little dance to reset his feet.
Crash is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Crash attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Crash seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Gotti sizes up Crash with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle.

Gotti fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Crash manages to avoid it.
Gotti throws out a loose jab but Crash uses good head movement to avoid it.
Crash with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Gotti to score with a decent uppercut.
Gotti looks to land a combination. Crash sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.

The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Crash won't allow Gotti to pass to mount.
Gotti seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Crash does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

John Gotti has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
A clash of legs there as Gotti blocks the low kick.
Gotti tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Crash was well out of range. Poor timing from Gotti.

The ref stands the fighters back up. John Gotti was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Crash lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Gotti has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Gotti and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

That was a close second round but I would say that Bone Crash will probably get the nod.
That's time! Crash's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Gotti feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Crash is looking to wear down Gotti with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment.

Gotti is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

John Gotti comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Gotti has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
