Strickland gets caught flat footed, as Mitchell shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Mitchell connects with a couple of short punches.

It looks like Luis Strickland has been cut.
Strickland doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Strickland trying to keep a closed guard but Mitchell is proving a slippery customer.
Mitchell works over Strickland with some ground and pound from guard.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Mitchell lands a couple of digs.
Mitchell has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Mitchell loads up on a big left hand. Strickland felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Mitchell looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Strickland can't hide his disappointment, as Mitchell celebrates the victory.
