Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Mitchell MonRoe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paul Kong (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think MonRoe might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Press Trigger (Mad Cobra). Kong is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Evil Scotsman. Mitchell MonRoe could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Paul Kong's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kong shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says MonRoe as he avoids it easily.
MonRoe stuffs the takedown attempt from Kong. Kong gets slowly back to his feet.
Kong stalks MonRoe and leaps in with a furious combination of punches. Uppercuts and crosses smash into MonRoe's face. MonRoe staggers backwards, shaken.
It looks like Mitchell MonRoe has been cut.
MonRoe lands an overhand left. A wild punch that just about connected.
Kong fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Mitchell MonRoe has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paul Kong.
Nice takedown defense from MonRoe. No joy for Kong on that attempt.

Kong takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

Kong shoots for a double leg takedown but MonRoe sprawls well. He's pushed Kong's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Kong is on top in guard.
Kong is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
MonRoe might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Kong thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
MonRoe is working an open guard so Kong takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.
MonRoe throws a half hearted mid kick.
Kong shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Kong was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Kong wants to finish this one by submission but MonRoe is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Kong.
Kong is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but MonRoe is surviving well by controlling Kong's body position as best he can.
And that's the end of the fight!
Paul Kong comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think MonRoe has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
