Carpenter's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.

Britian is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Carpenter seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.

Britian avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Carpenter.

and Carpenter counters with a low kick, right behind Britian 's knee.
Britian pushes forward with a 1-2 combination that forces Carpenter back to the cage. Britian follows up with a solid lead hook to the liver.

It looks like Eliseo Carpenter has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Carpenter is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Britian moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
