Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Mamed Chalidow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuri Tkyka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Tkyka lands a nice looking kick to the body. Chalidow takes a step back to recover.
Chalidow shoots in but Tkyka avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Chalidow shoots for a takedown but Tkyka saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Chalidow takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Chalidow tries to clinch there but Tkyka circles away.
Tkyka keeps Chalidow at a distance using the push kick.

Chalidow throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Tkyka tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Chalidow is in Tkyka's guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Chalidow is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Tkyka is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Tkyka has escaped and now he's on top!

Tkyka stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Chalidow swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Chalidow is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tkyka really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Chalidow. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Chalidow is looking for a triangle but Tkyka pushes his legs off easily.
Tkyka is fighting to break Chalidow's control of his arms but Chalidow is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.

Chalidow escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Tkyka gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Tkyka is just content to waste time from the top position. Chalidow takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.

That was a close round but I would say that Mamed Chalidow will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.

It looks like Mamed Chalidow has been cut.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Yuri Tkyka seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Chalidow takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Tkyka dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chalidow. That did some damage!
Yuri Tkyka seems to be getting the better of the standup.

Chalidow is rocked!
Tkyka weaves into range and cracks Chalidow right on the temple with a beautiful overhand right! Chalidow goes down! He's out cold! Wow, what a beautiful knockout! Tkyka is strutting round the canvas like a movie star as the camera bulbs flash frantically.
