Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nelson Morgan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Verde (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verde fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Morgan rushes Verde and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Verde is pressed up against the cage. Morgan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Verde down to the mat. Verde avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Verde fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Morgan to the ground. Verde is now in Morgan's guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
