Gaskins comes into the arena with Killing In The Name Of blaring out of the sound system. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gaskins connects with a solid leg kick.
Noel moves away from the strike by Gaskins.
Gaskins throws a hook to the side of Noel's head but Noel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Noel cracks Gaskins with a good jab.
Noel has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Gaskins.
Noel moves out of range of the body kick.
Noel throws a hook to the side of Gaskins's head but Gaskins sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Gaskins misses with a kick to the body.
Gaskins takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Gaskins displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Noel throws out the jab.

Noel takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Noel throws a right and a left that both miss.

Noel fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Noel takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.

It looks like Bethany Noel has been cut.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gaskins, right into the meat.

Gaskins throws a low kick but Noel moves out of range easily.

Gaskins lands a big head kick that sends Noel tumbling to the mat! Gaskins takes a step backwards and waves Noel back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Gaskins tries to score with a low kick but Noel moves his leg out of the way.
Noel seems to have recovered his senses.
Gaskins connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Noel momentarily.
Gaskins fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Noel manages to avoid it.
Gaskins throws a poor cross that misses
and Noel counters with a leg kick.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Gaskins, right into the meat.

Noel throws a left and a right that both miss
and Gaskins counters with a nice kick to the body.
Noel tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Donald Gaskins seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Gaskins fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Noel has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Gaskins misses with a hook. Noel ducked under it nicely.

Gaskins throws a push kick but Noel slaps the foot to one side.
Noel steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Gaskins. That one must have hurt.
Gaskins is looking to score with low kicks.
Noel throws a wild hook but Gaskins just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Noel gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Gaskins raises his hands in celebration and walks away!
