The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Walters shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Eater pinned against the cage. Eater gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Eater scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

It looks like Joe Walters has been cut.
Eater looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

Eater drives through and clinches with Walters against the cage.
Eater gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head.
Eater throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Walterss head.
Eater working some nice short punches in the clinch.
Walters avoids a wild elbow strike from Eater.

Eater's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Eater has closed the distance and engaged Walters in a clinch.
Eater looks to throw an elbow but misses.

Eater throws a series of strikes that have Walters backpedaling.

Eater breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Eater connects with a crisp jab.
Eater tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Walters paws at him with a jab and circles away.

and Eater connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Eater tries to close the distance and clinch up but Walters swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Walters avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Walters closes this distance looking for a takedown but Eater circles away.

Oooh a lovely combination from Eater sends Walters down but not out. Eater dives into side control looking to finish.

Walters is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Jef Li's MMA(13 coaches, 49 cap) that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.
Eater cracks Walters with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Eater immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Walters is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Eater!
