The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Khomenko is on the wrong end of a nice combination from O Brien.
Khomenko moves out of range of the body kick.
A solid leg kick lands there for O Brien.
Khomenko throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
O Brien misses with a few strikes there.
Khomenko throws a hook to the side of O Brien's head but O Brien sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Khomenko drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Khomenko misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from O Brien.

and O Brien counters with a nice low kick that buckles Khomenko's knee momentarily.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
