Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kru Thorne!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Danny Havoc!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Steve Erwin and Skip Squint.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Havoc fails with the takedown.
Jeez, both these guys look absolutely knackered already, that's not a good sign!
Havoc shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Thorne as he jumps to the side.
The fight stays on the outside here - Havoc looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Thorne shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.
Havoc is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Thorne looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
Thorne thowing strikes but they're hitting the gloves, not doing any damage.
Havoc is desperately trying to improve his position but Thorne has a good base and remains in mount.

Thorne wants to control the pace but Havoc is squirming around nicely.
Thorne goes for an armbar but he's not got it… Havoc turns into him and now he's in Thorne's guard.
Thorne trying to keep a closed guard but Havoc is proving a slippery customer.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Havoc looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
Havoc stands and steps away. Thorne gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.

Thorne drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Havoc throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land.
Havoc seems keen to control Thorne's posture.
Havoc manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Thorne is trying desperately to improve position.
Thorne stops Havoc from taking his back. Still, being mounted isn't any better.
Havoc is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Thorne is surviving well by controlling Havoc's body position as best he can.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Havoc trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Havoc can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Thorne is looking to escape.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Thorne shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Havoc as he jumps to the side.

Thorne is trying to stall.
Havoc tries to pull guard but Thorne won't allow it.
Havoc can't get the takedown.
Kru Thorne has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Danny Havoc.
Havoc lands a nice shot to the body.
Havoc goes for a takedown attempt but Thorne pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Havoc is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Thorne is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Havoc dives into side control.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Havoc controls the position.
Havoc is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. Thorne knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.
Thorne manages to get back to half guard.
Thorne tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Havoc manages to move to mount!
Thorne wants to hold on but Havoc pushes him away.

Havoc looking to secure an arm triangle but Thorne defends it well.
Thorne is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Thorne throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
Havoc lands a nice shot to the head.
Havoc sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Havoc cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Havoc with shots to the head and body - Thorne looks very uncomfortable down there.
Havoc tries to control but Thorne wriggling away.
Thorne sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Thorne is defending against the submission attempts here by Havoc.
Thorne is looking for a sweep. Havoc is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Havoc stalling away here and it's allowed Thorne to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Danny Havoc showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action. Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Havoc closes the distance and clinches up with Thorne, looking for a takedown. Havoc pushes Thorne against the ropes but Thorne circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
A head kick misses from Thorne.
Thorne shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Thorne moves out of range of the body kick from Havoc.
Thorne tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Havoc moves into the clinch.
Thorne manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Thorne is wriggling around but Havoc manages to pass to half guard.
Havoc stands up from half guard.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Havoc closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Havoc lands in his opponent's guard.

Havoc won't allow Thorne to get back to his feet.
Havoc postures up.
Havoc controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Havoc stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Thorne swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Havoc gets to his feet - Thorne follows without any prompting.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Havoc wants to clinch up but Thorne keeps it at a distance.
Thorne looks for a takedown but Havoc sprawls well.
Thorne clinches up against the ropes.
Thorne is looking for a takedown up against the ropes. Havoc gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Kru Thorne. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Thorne manages to break the clinch.
Havoc throws a wild body kick that Thorne sees coming a mile off.
Havoc fails with an attempt to clinch.
Kru Thorne is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Havoc throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Havoc moves into range and clinches up with Thorne.

Thorne lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Havoc or not.
Thorne looking to stall.
Thorne wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.
Havoc escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Havoc instigates a clinch.
Havoc misses with a hook to the ribs.
Havoc is pressed up against the ropes. Thorne has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Havoc down to the mat. Havoc avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Thorne moves in looking to clinch but Havoc pushes him off.
Havoc fails with the takedown
and Thorne counters with a thumping low kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round.
My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Havoc gets the takedown into side control.
Havoc creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.
Thorne is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Havoc is controlling him well.
Havoc just content to control the position.
Havoc stands up.
Havoc wants to clinch.
Havoc fails with the takedown
and Thorne counters with a big head kick but Havoc shrugs it off.
And that's the end of the fight!
Danny Havoc comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Havoc has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
