Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mike Mad (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Rekis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rekis comes into a darkened arena with his song building. AC/DC - Thunderstruck kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Mike Mad!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, John Rekis!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Jeff Smith and Josh West.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Rekis.

Our sources have told us that Mad has been working on his knees in the buildup to the fight.
Rekis tries to pull guard but Mad forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Mad trying to control the position but instead, Rekis has worked for underhooks and has pushed Mad into the cage.

Mad is fighting to break Rekis's control of his arms but Rekis is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.

Mad has left one of his arms exposed and Rekis doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Mad screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
