PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mickey Wilson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gabriel Hart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wilson comes to the cage accompanied by Drink and Fight. Gabriel Hart told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Gabriel Hart!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Chris Downing and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hart shoots in looking for a takedown but Wilson manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hart's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Hart drops his hands momentarily and Wilson takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Wilson looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wilson tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Hart was well out of range. Poor timing from Wilson.
Hart ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Wilson moves away.

Wilson tries to bum rush Hart with a series of wild strikes but Hart uses good footwork to avoid the assault.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Hart enables Wilson to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Hart manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Hart ducks straight into an uppercut from Wilson and tumbles to the canvas! It’s a flash knockdown though - Hart manages to regain guard straight away.

Wilson stands up over Hart, holding on to his feet. Wilson throws the legs to one side and dives in with a huge shot that lands flush on the chin! Hart is out cold! Wilson lands a couple more shots and the ref tackles him out of the way! What a brutal finish!
