Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Alfredo Benebidez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Walter Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Benebidez comes to the cage accompanied by Make War. Walter Wolf told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Benebidez momentarily.
Benebidez moves forwards but Wolf connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Decent striking displayed by Wolf there.
Wolf lands a nice shot to the body.
Wolf tries to close the distance and clinch up but Benebidez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
We've been hearing reports that Benebidez has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight.

Walter Wolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Wolf uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Wolf throws a looping overhand right but Benebidez ducks down to avoid it.
Walter Wolf is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Benebidez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wolf looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Benebidez is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Wolf is trying to escape and Benebidez transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Wolf is forced to tap! Nice work there by Benebidez! Very nice indeed!
