Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dude Love (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Bass (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Love kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Imagine. Dude Love had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.0lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bass swings for the body but Love moves out of range.
Bass throws a wild body kick that Love sees coming a mile off.
Love uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Bass.
Bass is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Bass lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Love circles away quickly and effectively.
Bass throws a head kick that Love semi-blocks.
Love avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Bass throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Bass pulls out of a head kick attempt.
A big left from Bass misses.
Bass throws a wild combination but nothing lands.

Love looking to score a takedown here. Bass is defending well but Love drives through and ends up in Bass's guard.

The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
Love trying to pass the guard. He's being very persistent here but Bass manages to land a sweep and now he's on top!

Bass might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Love haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Love is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Bass rolls with it to try and escape but Love cranks on the arm and Bass is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
