This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Cormier. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.

Adeyemi feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cormier sprawling to the canvas! Cormier rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Adeyemi finish him?!

Cormier takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Adeyemi comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.

Adeyemi cracks Cormier with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Adeyemi has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Cormier to stand back up!
Oh Cormier is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Adeyemi lands a brutal uppercut that launches Cormier off his feet! Cormier tumbles to the floor, barely conscious - the referee jumps in to save him from a beating! Wow, what an ending!

Jo Adeyemi decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
