Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Sun Ra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gerald Uotsec (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ra comes into the arena with Space is the place by Sun Ra blaring out of the sound system. Gerald Uotsec told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Viktor Lagutenko and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ra scores with a nice right hand.
A head kick misses from Ra.
Uotsec throws an overhand right that lands on Ra's shoulder, as Ra tries to avoid the shot.
Uotsec misses with an uppercut.
Ra cracks the inside of Uotsec's front leg.
Ra throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Uotsec's head.
Ra throws a head kick but Uotsec moves out of range.
Uotsec punishes Ra's body with a nice straight punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Uotsec throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Ra stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Ra ducks under a wild hook from Uotsec.
Uotsec just misses with a punch to the body.
We've been told by Ra's head coaches at Sun Ra and his Arkestra's training camp that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Ra lands a big head kick that sends Uotsec tumbling to the mat! Ra takes a step backwards and waves Uotsec back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Uotsec is rocked!
Ra uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Uotsec.
Ra lands a big uppercut and Uotsec crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Uotsec looks OK. Ra waves Uotsec back to his feet!
Uotsec is still on wobbly legs! Can Ra finish him?
Ra connects with a solid leg kick.
Uotsec misses with an uppercut. Ra saw that one coming.
Uotsec fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Ra manages to avoid it.
Crack! A monster head kick from Ra and Uotsec falls like a tree - timbeeeeeeeeeeerrrr! A highlight reel knockout by Ra!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Head Kick). Sun Ra!
