Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Domingo Pittman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johns Donovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johns Donovan has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Domingo Pittman's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Johns Donovan!
The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Columbo Gatti and Joseph Jones.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Donovan has managed to clinch.

Pittman has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Donovan uses from the top position.

Pittman has a hand on Donovan's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Donovan takes advantage of the position though and mounts him!

Donovan manages to capitalize on a mistake by Pittman to take his back!
Donovan slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
Let's hope that Donovan has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
Pittman knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Donovan on the ground.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Donovan has the hooks sunk in and you can see the will to fight slowly draining out of Pittman's body.

Donovan goes for a risky armbar from back mount and it's not paid off. Pittman escapes and is now in half guard on top.
Donovan is looking for a sweep. Pittman is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Pittman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.

Pittman is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Donovan has managed to free his arm - good work.

Donovan is defending against the submission attempts here by Pittman.
Donovan is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Pittman ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Pittman no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Donovan wants to control from the top but Pittman keeps moving.

The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Pittman takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.
Donovan has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Pittman is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Pittman tries to pull guard but Donovan forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Domingo Pittman. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Pittman tries a knee to the head but Donovan blocks it.

Donovan gets control of Pittman's arms and successfully pulls guard. Donovan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

Pittman will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Donovan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Pittman tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Johns Donovan has got the better of the ground game so far.
Donovan wants to stand up but Pittman has a hold of him and won't allow it.
Donovan not landing any meaningful shots this time.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Donovan tries to stand but his hand is stuck under Pittman.
Pittman wants to get back to his feet.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Donovan. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

A close second round but Johns Donovan will probably get the nod - 10:9.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. This is the final round!

Donovan turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Donovan manages to end up in side control.

Pittman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Pittman wants to stand and escape but instead Donovan has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Pittman is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Donovan is aware though and is defending well.

Donovan pushes down on Pittman's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Donovan wants to lay and pray for a moment but Pittman keeps working.
Donovan might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Pittman haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Johns Donovan comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Donovan has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
