Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 17 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kakashi Hatake!
The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Johanna Lukiainen and Anni Minnemäki.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hatake shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Beam is staying active underneath Hatake, who seems content to just control the action from this position.

Hatake is working for a submission of some sort.
Beam is controlling Hatake's trapped leg to prevent Hatake from advancing to side control.
Hatake is looking to pass Beam's guard but actually Beam recovers to full guard.

Hatake has gone for a leg lock! Beam slips out almost immediately though and dives into Hatake's guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Hatake keeping moving, preventing Beam from controlling successfully.
Beam tries to free his leg and advance position but Hatake is retaining full guard.
Hatake is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Beam works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Beam not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Beam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Hatake tries to get to full guard but Beam has control of the leg.

Hatake tries to get back to half guard but can't.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Hatake trying desperately to get to his feet.
Hatake felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Beam fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

It looks like Kakashi Hatake has been cut.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Oooh a big shot lands for Beam! Hatake is out! The ref dives in to save him from more punishment!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Jim Beam!
