The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moralez looks for a takedown but Rufus sprawls well.
Moralez takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Moralez shoots in for a takedown but Rufus shows good takedown defense.
Rufus cracks a nice hook into Moralez's ribs.
Rufus works Moralez's body with a nice hook.
A cross from Rufus lands.
Moralez walks into a straight right hand from Rufus.
Rufus swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Moralez.
Moralez takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Rufus wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Rufus slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Rufus lands a nice shot that snaps Moralez's head back.
Rufus lands with a straight right. Moralez didn't see that one coming.
Rufus throws a right and a left that both miss.

Rufus gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Moralez to score an easy takedown into full guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Moralez throws a big elbow that misses.

Moralez advances position into side control!

Rufus wants to control the position but that's not easy when your opponent is in side control! Moralez seems to be going for some sort of submission here. Hard to say what - oh, it's a Brabo choke! He's got it! Rufus is tapping! Wow, great finish!
