Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Gregorio Russell!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Eric Krazman!
The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Robert Twigg and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Krazman shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Russell's guard.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Krazman postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.

Krazman won't allow Russell to get back to his feet.
Russell tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Russell wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.

Eric Krazman has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Russell looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

Russell is fighting off a takedown attempt but Krazman is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Russell to the mat. Russell regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.

Russell manages to escape and get back to his feet.

Krazman wants to sweep but no luck.
Russell slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Krazman escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Russell gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Russell passes Krazman's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Russell looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.

Russell has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Krazman is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Russell is thwarting Krazman's attempts to control the position.
Russell is taking a breather. Krazman says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Gregorio Russell.
Russell swats away the attempt to clinch by Krazman.
Russell misses with a jab, cross combination.
Russell fails miserably with a takedown attempt.

Krazman shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
Krazman throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Russell makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Russell.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Russell is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Russell controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Krazman working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Russell doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Russell manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Russell's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Eric Krazman is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Well Krazman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
