The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sus tries to bum rush Meadows with a series of wild strikes but Meadows uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Vitaliy Sus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sus fails to land the takedown.
Sus fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Meadows to the ground. Sus is now in Meadows's guard.
Sus preventing the sweep.
Meadows might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Sus trying to control but Meadows is working from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Meadows is striking from the bottom but Sus uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
Meadows has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Meadows tries to roll over but Sus keeps him under control.

Sus postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Meadows looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.

Sus trying to control the position from guard on top but Meadows is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sus is posturing up here but Meadows has hold of an arm and he's gone for an armbar! Sus tries to roll out but it's too tight and Sus has to tap! Slick submission there by Meadows!
