The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Agnew misses with a combination
and Gallegos counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
Gallegos takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
No joy there for Agnew, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Agnew tries a head kick but it misses.
Agnew lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.

It looks like Sheldon Gallegos has been cut.
Agnew misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Agnew throws a low kick but Gallegos moves out of range easily.
Gallegos throws a head kick but Agnew moves out of range.
Gallegos closes this distance looking for a takedown but Agnew circles away.
Agnew throws a right and a left that both miss.
Cedric Agnew seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Gallegos fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Agnew, pushing him back against the cage.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Agnew throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Agnew is trying to break the clinch but Gallegos is controlling him.
Gallegos could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Agnew has had enough of the clinch but Gallegos keeps him there for the moment.

Gallegos breaks the clinch.
Gallegos is sent reeling backwards by a solid uppercut. He barely regains his balance and Agnew moves in for the kill throwing a continuous barrage of punches that force the ref to step in.
