Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jim Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ragnar Lothbrok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Cain might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Five Finger Death Punch - Mama Said Knock You Out. Lothbrok has chosen I Am A Viking as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lothbrok looks to land a combination but Cain avoids it well.
Cain throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Lothbrok sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Cain misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Lothbrok throws a right hand that Cain ducks under and follows up with a left that Cain also avoids with ease.
A swing and a miss from Lothbrok.
Lothbrok pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Cain displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Lothbrok throws out the jab.
Cain has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Lothbrok misses with an uppercut. Cain saw that one coming.

Cain ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Cain misses with the combination.

Cain throws a series of punches but Lothbrok moves out of range.
Cain throws a shot from downtown. Lothbrok moves away and avoids it.
Cain throws a looping overhand right but Lothbrok ducks down to avoid it.
Ragnar Lothbrok seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lothbrok throws a right and a left that both miss.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Lothbrok lands a left and a right that send Cain crashing to the mat, dazed. Lothbrok thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
