The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ohchooto fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.
Aruba takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor.
No luck for Aruba with that takedown attempt.

Ohchooto moves into the clinch.

Aruba prevents a body shot from Ohchooto.
Aruba wants to take the fight to the mat but Ohchooto manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Aruba has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Ohchooto after a bit of a struggle.

Aruba throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Ohchooto's waist but Ohchooto gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Aruba off to one side.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ohchooto, as that shot connected.
Aruba looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.

Oh Aruba is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Aruba has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Ohchooto clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.

Aruba is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Ohchooto knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Ohchooto for a finish.

Aruba is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Ohchooto has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Ohchooto tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Aruba will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Aruba is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Ohchooto has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Ohchooto is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

That was a close round but I would say that Reinaldo Aruba will probably get the nod.

Ohchooto lands a left and a right that send Aruba crashing to the mat, dazed. Ohchooto thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Ohchooto ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Aruba's jaw. Aruba's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Ohchooto does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
