PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jake Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Walker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, I have no idea who's going to take this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Joseph bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.
Walker is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Joseph is working Walker over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Walker sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Joseph stands up over Walker, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Walker is striking from the bottom but Joseph uses the opportunity to pass into half guard.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Walker shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Joseph as he jumps to the side.

Joseph has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
Walker keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Joseph's head.
Walker postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Joseph covers up, he's hurt! Walker keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Walker and the ref steps in to end the fight! Walker can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
