Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Carlos Meira (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Robert Wolf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wolf has chosen JMT- Blood Runs Cold as his entrance music. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Chris Saunders and Colin Fray.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wolf cracks Meira with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Meira tries to clinch but Wolf moves out of range.
Decent striking displayed by Wolf there.
It looks like Carlos Meira has been cut.
Meira with a lazy takedown attempt
and Wolf counters with a nice double leg into guard.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Meira wants to sweep but no luck.
Meira being controlled here, momentarily.
Meira escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Wolf gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Meira is trying to keep Wolf in close.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Wolf wants to control from the top but Meira keeps moving.
Wolf throwing strikes but missing.
Meira is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Wolf has his hands clasped together but Meira extends and breaks Wolf's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Meira.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Carlos Meira!
