Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Rudi Voeller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Greg Horace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horace looks for a takedown but Voeller sprawls well.

Horace closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Horace tries to land with some ground and pound but misses.
Voeller wants to get back to his feet.
Horace trying to control the action but Voeller is working from the bottom.

Horace is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Voeller is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.

Horace swings around for an armbar but Voeller sees it coming a mile off and turns beautifully into Horace's guard.

Voeller stands up from guard. Let's bang!
Voeller looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Voeller shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Horace counters with a shoot takedown. Voeller fights it but they end up in guard.

Horace drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Voeller dives on top into guard.
Horace looks gassed!

Horace has his foot on Voeller's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Voeller works his way back into a safe position though.

Horace is trying to land a reversal but Voeller doesn't like that idea too much. He pushed the legs to the side and dives into side control. He's managed to grab a loose arm triangle. Voeller is tightening it up though! This could be trouble for Horace! Horace trying desperately to escape but he's gone limp! He's out! Wooooorld class Brazilian Jiu Jitsu from Voeller!
