The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ross shoots for a double leg takedown but Nick sprawls well. He's pushed Ross's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Ross shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Ross showed some decent athleticism there.
Ross is figuring out what he wants to do next.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Rick Ross was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Ross will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.

Nick stuffs the takedown.
Saint Nick has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rick Ross.

Oooooh!!! Nick has knocked Ross down with a huge combo! Nick steps away and waves a wobbly Ross back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Rick Ross has been cut.

Ross tries to get into range but Nick steps to the side and lands a beautiful hook that drops Ross! He's faceplanted into the mat, ass in the air... he's out cold! That's an image he won't want to show his grandkids when he gets older! Nick scores the big KO victory!
