Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Tyreke Vesilla!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kula Modrich!
The judges for this bout are John Mangel, Ben Watson and Ben Hemmingworth.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Horrible takedown by Vesilla or perhaps it was just good defense by Modrich which made him look bad.

Vesilla closes the distance and pushes Modrich back into the cage.

Vesilla gets control of Modrich's arms and successfully pulls guard. Vesilla will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Modrich got a little sloppy there for a moment and Vesilla has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Modrich has managed to get both his arms back between Vesilla's legs - danger averted.
Vesilla is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Modrich wants to pass the guard but Vesilla is keeping the position.

Vesilla is in full mount, looking to secure a guillotine but Modrich is surviving well by controlling Vesilla's body position as best he can.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Oh Vesilla is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Vesilla gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Modrich gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Vesilla is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
