Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Adan Leonard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and King Brice (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brice has chosen Yo as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brice digs a good hook to Leonard's body.
Brice fails to land with a series of punches.
Leonard blocks a head kick by Brice.

enabling Leonard to counter with a crisp jab.
Brice swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Leonard will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Leonard really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Brice scores with a head kick. Leonard tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Leonard tries to score a power double leg takedown but Brice sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Leonard somewhat.
Brice slaps away a takedown attempt from Leonard, before circling back to the center of the mat.

Brice throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Leonard.

Leonard on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.

Brice darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Brice jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Leonard is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Leonard and Brice has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Brice wants to control for a moment but Leonard uses the opportunity to move back to half guard.

King Brice dominated that round.
That's time! Leonard's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Brice decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Brice tries to stand but can't do so whilst Leonard controls his leg.

Leonard has one foot on Brice's thigh - he pushes off and manages to get back to his feet.
Brice ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Leonard moves away.

Brice shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Brice showed some decent athleticism there.
Leonard is looking for a sweep. Brice is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

King Brice has got the better of the ground game so far.
It looks like Brice is going to stand back up.
Leonard tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Brice ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Leonard moves away.
Brice throws a low kick but it's checked well by Leonard.
Leonard uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Brice.
Brice will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Brice thows a body shot but no joy.

Brice throws a lazy uppercut
and Leonard counters with a left and a right that stings Brice.
Brice is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Leonard rather than just go for the knockout.

Brice drives through with a takedown into Leonard's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.

Brice stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Leonard swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Brice throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Brice throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Brice attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Brice takes a swing at Leonard's ribcage but misses.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Leonard throws a right and a left that Brice avoids nicely.
Leonard has a nice red mark on his side after a thudding body kick by Brice.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

King Brice showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Leonard lands with a big left hand that may well have hurt his opponent. Can Brice hold on?!

King Brice is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Leonard has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Brice.
What can Brice do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!
