Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Adam Peri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Reg Throb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peri comes to the cage accompanied by Anthem of Israel. Throb has chosen Sexes On Fire as his entrance music. Reg Throb has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Throb misses with a wild combination.
Throb throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Peri.

Throb gets the takedown into side control.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Peri is looking for a sweep.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Throb scores with a couple of short elbows.
Throb grinds an elbow into Peri's temple.

Throb is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Peri has escaped the position, nice work there.
Throb wants to stand but Peri has his arm trapped.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Throb stands up and beckons Peri to his feet.
Adam Peri seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Peri misses with a few strikes there.
Throb throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Peri has his takedown stuffed

and Throb counters with a takedown into side control! That could mean trouble for Peri!

Peri is letting Throb control him for a moment.
Peri tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Throb wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control.

Throb decides to take the fight back to the feet.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Throb ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
Throb takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Throb throws a good cross that connects.
Throb pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.

Throb closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Throb lands in his opponent's guard.
Hammerfist, elbow! yells Throb's corner. There ya go! There ya go!

Peri has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Throb should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Peri has tightened it up now! Throb should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
