Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ong Bak (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Will Do (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bak comes to the cage accompanied by you've lost that loving feeling. Ong Bak has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 19 - 18 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Ong Bak!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Will Do!
The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Do throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Bak.
Bak throws a front kick aimed at Do's knee but Do avoids it well.
Bak moves in looking to clinch but Do pushes him off.
Do has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bak is landing a low percentage of strikes.
Do cracks Bak with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.


It looks like Ong Bak has been cut.
Bak shoots for a double leg takedown but Do sprawls well. He's pushed Bak's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Bak tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Do counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bak darts in trying to clinch

and Do decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Bak's guard.
Bak is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Do trying to control the position from guard on top but Bak is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Bak is looking to stand up but Do isn't so interested in that idea.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Do forces his way into half guard.
Do with a momentary lay and pray from half guard.
Bak's coaches at Mano`s Elite BJJ Gym have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Do trying to mount his opponent but Bak defends it.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Bak is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Bak is working hard here to advance position.
Bak trying to control from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Will Do hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Bak tries to grapple but his opponent circles

and Do counters with a nice double leg into side control. Bak won't be happy with that.
Do controls the position.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Bak manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!
Do is refusing to be controlled, as Bak sits in half guard.
It looks like Bak is going to stand back up.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Do avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Bak.
Bak throws a strike but Do avoids it easily and moves to full guard.

Bak gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Do throws a head kick but Bak moves out of range.
Bak really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Bak is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Do throws a half hearted mid kick.
Will Do is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Do avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Do lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bak moves to clinch but Do breaks away
and Do connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Bak tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Do cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Bak is looking to chop away at Do's legs.

and Do counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Do.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Do stands and steps away. Bak gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Will Do dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Ong Bak's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.



Do cracks Bak with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Bak looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Do finish him?


Bak is rocked!
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Bak shoots in looking for a takedown. Do tries to sprawl out of it but Bak keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Do manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Bak tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Do paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bak doesn't manage to clinch there - Do circles away.
Do throws a leg kick that misses.
Bak closes the distance but Do moves to the side

and Do counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
Bak lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.


It looks like Will Do has been cut.
The referee calls for Do to work.
Do blocks the elbow strike.
Bak avoiding damage as Do throws knees to the body.
Nice elbow from Bak.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Do's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Bak tries to clinch there but Do circles away.
Nice shot by Do.
Bak tries to clinch but Do moves out of range.
Bak tries to close the distance and clinch up but Do swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Bak moves to clinch but Do breaks away
and Do cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Oh Bak is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Bak is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bak seems to have got his legs back now.
Do throws a right and a left that Bak avoids nicely.
Bak tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Do counters with a stiff jab, followed by a cross and an uppercut! That's too much punishment for Bak to take - he tumbles to the canvas, blood pouring from his nose, barely conscious. That's the end of the fight! Great knockout by Do!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Will Do!
In defeat, Ong Bak stepped up to the mic, saying 'Osssss'.
