Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between JayJay Marvin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yeovil Tiger (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Marvin might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to "Your Not Alone" - Tinchy Stryder. JayJay Marvin has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, JayJay Marvin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Yeovil Tiger!
The judges for this bout are James Glass, Richard Clark and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A punch combination from Marvin misses.
Tiger keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
Marvin throws a hook but Tiger blocks it.
Marvin fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Tiger uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Marvin.
Marvin is breathing heavily.
Tiger throws a series of strikes that have Marvin backpedaling.


It looks like JayJay Marvin has been cut.
Tiger fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

Marvin gets caught flat footed, as Tiger shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for leaving it all in the cage!
Tiger missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Tiger postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Tiger controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Tiger has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
I looks like Tiger might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.
Tiger trying to control but Marvin is working from the bottom.
Tiger controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Despite being in the dominant position, Yeovil Tiger just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Tiger swings wildly with a couple of big hooks

and Marvin counters with a single leg into guard. Tiger didn't expect that.

Tiger had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Marvin is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Tiger Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Marvin's back instead.
I would not like to be Marvin right now.
Tiger is throwing punches to the body, looking to soften Marvin up.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Marvin is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Tiger.

Tiger looking for the rear naked choke. And he's got it! Marvin taps!
