Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Ilafat Urskilz (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tatsuya Kawajiri (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Kawajiri comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Water Pow kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 7 - 1, fighting out of New York, Ilafat Urskilz!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Tatsuya Kawajiri!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Russell Pearce and John Kavanagh.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Urskilz throws a low kick, looking for Kawajiri's leg but Kawajiri calmly moves out of range.
Urskilz looks to land a left hand but Kawajiri moved out of range nicely.
Urskilz feints and then cracks Kawajiri's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Kawajiri down.
Kawajiri chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Urskilz can pounce on him.
The fighters circle momentarily. Urskilz darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Urskilz looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Kawajiri shoots for a double leg takedown but Urskilz sprawls well. He's pushed Kawajiri's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.

Kawajiri is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Urskilz can't fight it off and eventually Kawajiri manages to take the fight to the floor. Urskilz looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Urskilz is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Kawajiri is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Ilafat Urskilz.
Urskilz feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Kawajiri's calf.

Kawajiri shoots in and gets a takedown into Urskilz's guard.

Kawajiri drops back looking for a leg! Urskilz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Urskilz manages to kick Kawajiri off! Kawajiri jumps back into Urskilz's guard.

Kawajiri drops back looking for a leg! Urskilz is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Urskilz manages to kick Kawajiri off! Kawajiri jumps back into Urskilz's guard.
Kawajiri stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Urskilz swivels though and keeps the full guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Urskilz, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
