Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Steve Henderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wayne Cambell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Steve Henderson!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Wayne Cambell!
The judges for this bout are Micheangelo Fripello, Colin Fray and Paul Gruel.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Henderson enables Cambell to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Henderson manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

We've been hearing that Henderson has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish.

Cambell has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Evil Emp-HEAD HUNTERS FIGHTCLUB ELITE. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up.

Cambell shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Henderson napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Cambell looks up at the clock and then as Henderson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Cambell smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That was a close round but I would say that Steve Henderson will probably get the nod.

Wayne Cambell showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Cambell closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Cambell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Henderson. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Henderson is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Cambell is just riding it out for now. Henderson eventually gives up the hold.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cambell can do anything to dispel that myth.

Henderson has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Cambell is working away from the top position though.

Wayne Cambell comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Cambell has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

Wayne Cambell tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
