The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mudzuri ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Copeland moves away.
Copeland takes one on the chin but seems OK.

Mudzuri gets caught napping as Copeland dives in and scores a takedown. Mudzuri manages to retain guard.

Copeland is stalling here. Mudzuri is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Copeland seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Mudzuri has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.

Copeland is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Mudzuri is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Mudzuri flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Copeland anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Mudzuri and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Copeland slips an arm under Mudzuri chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Copeland has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Copeland is squeezing on Mudzuri like an anaconda would it's prey. Mudzuri fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
