PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Bigg Moe (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tom Turner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Moe's entrance music is polly cover my son justin. A fine choice. Turner comes into a darkened arena with his song building. King Drum kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Tom Turner!
The judges for this bout are Chris Saunders, Jeff Smith and Ryoma Takatsuka.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Moe throws a nice looking combination but Turner bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Turner throws a head kick but Moe moves out of range.
Turner moves out of range as Moe strikes.
Turner lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
Turner steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Moe.
Moe throws a looping overhand right but Turner ducks down to avoid it.
Turner throws a leg kick that misses.
Turner moves out of range as Moe strikes.
Moe dodges the punch combination from Turner.
A slow jab from Moe misses its intended target.
Turner throws a jab but it's blocked by Moe.
Moe shapes like he's going to throw a leg kick but settles back down.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Moe smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.

It looks like Tom Turner has been cut.

Moe looking to score a takedown here. Turner is defending well but Moe drives through and ends up in Turner's guard.
Turner is pulling down on Moe's head to control his posture.
Moe works over Turner with some ground and pound from guard.
Moe working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Turner's head.
Moe has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Turner controls Moe momentarily but Moe frees himself.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Moe accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Moe lands a couple of digs.
Turner really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Moe. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Moe content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots.
Moe keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Turner's head.

Moe thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Turner has Moe pulled in close to control his posture.
Moe is working Turner over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

That has opened up Tom Turner's cut even more.
Turner pulls Moe in to control the position.
Moe lands a couple of digs.

The cut above Tom Turner's eye is starting to cause him problems now.
Turner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Tom Turner's cut is absolute horrible now. This looks like something out of a horror film with blood covering both fighters.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Tom Turner's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
