The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Love missing with a left hand there. Penncil was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Penncil closes this distance looking for a takedown but Love circles away.
Penncil dives in for a single leg takedown but Love sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Penncil is working for takedown but Love is calmly controlling the position for now.
Dude Love has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of BJ Penncil.
Love has Penncil pushed against the cage.
Penncil takes a knee right on the jaw!

It looks like BJ Penncil has been cut.
Still in the clinch, Love scores with a nice short uppercut.
Love softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Penncil has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Love is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Love has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
A nice right hand lands inside from Love.
Love is pushing Penncil up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
The crowd are getting pretty annoyed with Love for his constant stalling in the clinch and are voicing their displeasure.
Love gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Penncil.
A body shot lands from Love.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Love moves into range and lands a nice body kick.
Penncil looks winded!

Love sends Penncil crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Love is motioning to the referee to let Penncil up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Penncil is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
A kick lands to the mid section there for Love.
Penncil is still on wobbly legs! Can Love finish him?
A thudding body kick lands there by Love!
Penncil seems to have recovered his senses.
Love steps in with a hook that catches Penncil right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Love follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Penncil looks absolutely devastated.

A relieved looking Dude Love thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
