The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Patton pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Patton throws a shot from downtown. Dez moves away and avoids it.
Dez moves away from the strike by Patton.
Dez throws a nice looking combination but Patton bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Patton misses with a looping right.

Patton has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
A slow jab from Patton misses its intended target.
Patton fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Patton connects with a combination that backs up Dez into the cage. Patton lands a flurry of punches that gets past Dez's guard. Dez is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Patton bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
