The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Banks is moving around in side control but his primary objective seems to be to maintain the position.

Banks is landing with some decent strikes but Litmannen is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Banks really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Banks has control of Litmannen's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Litmannen regains control of the situation pretty easily.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Litmannen wants to control but Banks is having none of it.

Banks has hold of Litmannen's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Litmannen manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Banks has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Banks pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.

Banks is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Banks extends the arm and Litmannen is forced to tap!
