Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rick Rexman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bartek Gor (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rick Rexman has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.

The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rexman manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Gor on his heels. He'll look to pass Gor's guard now, I'm sure.
Gor has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall.

Gor had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rexman defends it easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Gor throws his legs up looking for a submission but Rexman uses it to pass to side control.

Gor bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!

Rexman throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Gor because Rexman loaded up on that one.
Gor is wriggling around trying to escape.
Rexman sends his fist crashing into the mat - the crowd let out a collective ooooooh. Let's hope he's not broken it!

Rexman can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Gor is looking to escape.
Gor avoids a series of strikes thrown by Rexman.
Gor wants to control but Rexman is having none of it.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.

Rexman wants to finish this one by submission but Gor is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Rexman.

Gor might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Rexman haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Rexman goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Gor is on top in guard.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Gor is looking to work some ground and pound but Rexman has wrist control.

That was a close round but I would say that Rick Rexman will probably get the nod.
The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

We've been informed that Gor has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Rexman manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Gor sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Rexman seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gor does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Gor looking to hit a scissor sweep but Rexman is one step ahead there.

Gor escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Rexman gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Gor is looking to cinch up a triangle. Rexman throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Gor's body to avoid the submission. Gor has instead reached around Rexman's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Gor arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
