The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Mauricio Rocha and Felipe Paraventi.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop looks to score with a jab to the body but Shadow is just out of range.

Shadow has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.

Shadow changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bishop tries to avoid it but Shadow manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bishop to the ground. Bishop escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shadow shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Bishop as he jumps to the side.

The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Bishop lands a nice short elbow.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Bryan Bishop hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Shadow gets caught napping as Bishop dives in and scores a takedown. Shadow manages to retain guard.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Bishop in particular looking to stall.

That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
