Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Buddy Brandon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Simon Tufeksi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brandon comes to the cage accompanied by All Summer Long. Tufeksi has chosen Welcome Home as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Simon Tufeksi has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Buddy Brandon!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Simon Tufeksi!
The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Ben Hemmingworth and Ben Watson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brandon works over Tufeksi's head and body with a nice combination.
A head kick misses from Brandon.
Tufeksi throws a head kick that misses.
Horrible takedown by Tufeksi or perhaps it was just good defense by Brandon which made him look bad.
Brandon pushes Tufeksi up against the cage in a clinch.
Tufeksi tries to pull guard but Brandon holds him up against the cage and eventually Tufeksi drops back down to his feet.
Tufeksi lands with a left to the head.
Tufeksi tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Brandon smiles and moves away.
Buddy Brandon has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Simon Tufeksi.
Tufeksi tries for a takedown but Brandon sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Brandon comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Brandon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Brandon fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Tufeksi has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Brandon misses with a two punch combination.
Brandon bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Tufeksi's head backwards.
Brandon throws a series of punches but Tufeksi moves out of range.
Tufeksi tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Brandon counters with a three punch combo that has Tufeksi backing up. Tufeksi nods at Brandon to acknowledge the strikes.
It looks like Simon Tufeksi has been cut.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Brandon.
Brandon shoots in for a takedown but Tufeksi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.
Tufeksi takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Buddy Brandon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brandon throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Tufeksi avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Brandon shoots for a takedown but Tufeksi saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Brandon moves into range and clinches up with Tufeksi.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Tufeksi tries for a takedown but Brandon manages to get underhooks.
Brandon looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Brandon ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Brandon no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.
Brandon seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Tufeksi throws a sloppy strike and Brandon has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Tufeksi is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Brandon!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Buddy Brandon!
Buddy Brandon decided to thank the fans in attendance for making a great atmosphere. It seemed to go down pretty well.
